The problem
Pressed at 8:00.

You iron your thobe carefully. Then you sit in the car, at a desk or on a plane. By the time you arrive, the fabric already looks like it has been through the day.
Travel makes it worse. Fold it into a suitcase and the first thing you need at your destination is an iron. Friday morning becomes another task before the day has even started.

The Sayr approach

Sayr takes its name from movement, progress and the journey forward. The first Sayr thobe is being developed around one principle: you should not have to choose between looking refined and living an active life.
We are comparing fabric and construction prototypes for crease recovery, opacity, comfort, wash behaviour and drape. Final performance claims will only be published after physical testing.

FAQ
Before you join.
Is Sayr really completely wrinkle-free?
Our design target is a thobe that removes the need for ironing in normal everyday use. We are testing that claim now. We will only use absolute language such as “100% wrinkle-free” if the final production fabric genuinely supports it.
Will the fabric feel too hot?
Warm-weather comfort is part of our sample testing. We are prioritising a light, fluid feel rather than a heavy fabric simply to create structure.
How will I choose my size?
The final size guide will use height and body measurements, with clear garment dimensions before orders open. Your answers above help us decide the first size allocation.
Where will the first drop ship?
We are using the priority list to decide the first launch markets. France, Belgium, Switzerland and the UK are currently being evaluated, with broader European delivery possible after validation.
